What is Próspera?

Prospera is a startup city in Honduras created as part of a SEZ (Special Economic Zone) program. It functions as a semi-autonomous zone with its own business-friendly rules, low taxes, and concise regulations. Offering "Governance as a Service," Prospera aims to foster economic growth by creating an environment that protects private property, provides security, and attracts investment - essentially treating residents and businesses as valued customers rather than traditional citizens.

What is the immigration process like?

While Próspera offers its own residency program, it is crucial to understand that it does not replace Honduran immigration requirements. Próspera is located within Honduras, and if you're planning to reside in Honduras, you must go through the country's immigration process even if you hold a Próspera residency. Próspera Residency does not grant automatic entry to Honduras.
